Role Description The Dental Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kozhikode. The Dental Assistant will support dental practitioners during examinations and procedures, prepare and organize treatment rooms, and assist with chairside duties such as passing instruments and managing patient comfort. Daily responsibilities include maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilization, handling basic dental radiography support as directed, and ensuring dental equipment and materials are ready for use. The role also involves updating patient records, providing oral care instructions as guided by the dentist, coordinating appointment schedules, and contributing to a welcoming, efficient clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess practical skills in Dental Care, Dentistry, and Oral Care.
- Candidates should possess skills in Sterilization and maintaining infection control protocols.
- Candidates should possess core Dental Assisting skills, including chairside support and patient preparation.
- Relevant certification or diploma in Dental Assisting or a related dental field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, hygiene awareness, and adherence to clinical safety standards.
- Effective communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team and manage time efficiently in a busy setting.
- Prior experience in a dental clinic or healthcare center is an advantage.
